Hy Brazil is a compilation series that aims to map and promote the new music produced in Brazil focusing on electronic and experimental sounds. The formula of each volume is always the same: 14 unreleased tracks by 14 new producers across the Country.
Apart from the artists themselves, Hy Brazil fits conceptually with local promoters, festivals, producers, collectives, parties, labels and venues that have been struggling in recent years to change the cultural production scenario, always presenting new ideas, formats and smart programmes. Novas Frequências, Eletrônika, Sónar São Paulo, Kinobeat, Quintavant, Mostra Arte Sônica, Wobble, Matéria, Outros Críticos, Metanol FM, Desmonta, Brava, Norópolis, Voodoohop, Só Pedrada Musical, Ibrasotope, Música Estranha, Dissenso, Exhale the Sound, Hy Brazil, 40% Foda/ Maneiríssimo, Ruído, TOC, Beatwise, Colab 011, QTV, Rebola, Bota na Roda, Avalanche Tropical, Funk na Caixa, Fazedores de Som, Braza, Step In, Arrastão, Fluxxx, Low Kick High Punch, Uivo, Galope, Mansarda, Propósito, Sinewave, Audio Rebel, Comuna, Espaço SA, Trackers, Casa do Mancha and Glicério 721, among others. The list grows every month.
Now going into it’s consecutive third year, the Hy Brazil project already showcased 98 different artists from multiple ages, genres and cities spreaded all over the Country.

Wobble is a DJ and producer collective based in Rio and São Paulo who aim to spread bass music culture in Brazil. Formed by Fabio Heinz, Rodrigo S and Marginal Men (a duo formed by Gustavo Elsas and Pedro Fontes) they always present themselves alongside other national and international talents. From baile funk to house, from trap to grime, Wobble are breaking barriers and redefining styles within a scene that still crawls from many independent efforts.
Despite being together since 2012, it was only in 2014 that Marginal Men began producing music, resulting in the “Shake That Crack” track collaboration with São Paulo’s CABLE producer. Since then they have worked with producers and MCs like MC Brinquedo, MC Bin Laden, Pesadão Tropical, Ruxell and Portuguese producer Branko from Buraka Som Sistema and head of the global bass label... more
